This is the first time we find out that She-Ra's sword has any weakness or vulnerability. Very effective. (Also, once we get past the Imminent Danger part, very funny.)
Entrapta has put me in the (new) position of "every time someone makes a comment about her, for a second I think they're talking about my username."
On first watch I knew nothing about the original series, so her character arc was an entertaining surprise. Her thing for tiny food is great, and she's got the classic mad-scientist "okay, my experiment almost caused the robot apocalypse this time, but we got a ton of data for next time."
Is there anyone in the castle besides the princess and her three staffers? (And the robots, of course.) I basically got the sense they were the only ones in the whole kingdom, weird as that is.
Yeah, Entrapta's isolation is.. interesting, considering we saw Perfuma surrounded by her people, and Mermista mentioned something about her own kingdom being evacuated. It also sounded like Entrapta didn't have her own gemstone, another thing setting her apart.
Which makes sense as we don't really see her use magic. Although the staff do say "we're not princesses, we don't have magic" so Entrapta must have some magic. I thought initially her gemstone might have been the beacon that sounds the alarm, but you know she would have taken it apart to examine long before, if she had one.
Huh, I guess I just assumed Entrapta's thing was being a techno-wizard. Also, her magic moving hair is a parallel to Perfuma's vine-control and Mermista's water-control/mer-transformation.
Her hair is just a wonder in itself. I mean it does everything.
The techno aspect I see as a skill rather than magic. She's very methodical and experiments. The conversation Bow has with Adora and Glimmer about her being part of the makers community makes me feel that way as most of the other princesses their magic is what they are, not necessarily what they do, if that makes sense?
